Themes and goals
This TCA seminar invites school teachers from Erasmus+ Programme countries to focus on green skills and sustainability education in school, with a particular focus on the GreenComp, the European Sustainability Competence Framework. Through practical workshops, collaborative activities and peer learning, participants will explore how GreenComp can be translated into everyday teaching and school practices. The TCA will support teachers in developing their own sustainability competences and in creating learning opportunities that encourage students to develop green skills and make more sustainable choices in their daily lives. This activity supports the Erasmus+ horizontal priority “Environment & the fight against climate change”. It aims to increase awareness of environmental and climate challenges across sectors, develop sustainability relevant competences, promote green strategies and method.
Expected results
After attending this TCA, participants will have a better understanding of the green priority and the GreenComp framework. They will strengthen their sustainability competences and gain practical skills to integrate green skills into teaching and encourage students to make more sustainable choices. Participants will exchange good practices, challenges and success factors with peers from other countries and build partnerships for future Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 projects focused on green competences.
Additional information
Participants are expected to take an active role in the activity, engage with other participants and present their organisation and areas of interest where relevant.The working language of the activity will be English. Participants should have sufficient English language skills to participate actively in professional discussions and networking activities.

From school education sector (primary to upper secondary level), who are interested in learning and training activities with a focus on sustainability.
Professionals from the school education (SCH) sector, working with learners from primary to upper secondary level schools, who are:
- currently teaching or training;
- interested in initiating or developing learning and training activities with a focus on sustainability;
- motivated to integrate sustainability and environmental literacy into their teaching and training practices;
- interested in developing and implementing GreenComp-oriented learning activities
